The Impact of Technology on Young Adult Spines

In today’s digital age, technology has become an integral part of daily life for many young adults. However, prolonged use of smartphones, tablets, and computers can have detrimental effects on spinal health. The posture commonly adopted while using these devices, known as “text neck” or “tech neck,” involves slouching the head forward and downward, placing excessive strain on the cervical spine. By adopting these habits, young adults can minimize the impact of technology on their spines and maintain overall well-being.
